Well that edict lasted 12 years overall and then just over a year under Alonso?

Uh oh. Here comes the avalanche of fanboy criticism.

What's really gonna bake y'all's noodles is the END of the crossover, when Miles is stuck in the 616 and takes over the Amazing Spider-Man book with issue 700.

I have no problem with this story. Heck I'm rather intrigued by it. BUT don't you ever say that. Just no.

I think its funny how people will complain and complain about the lack of original thought, then they do something that's never been done before and everyone complains. lol Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

"For the 50th anniversary of Spider-Man, what everyone was looking for was a Spider-Man story that mattered. Well, here you go."

True enough statement. Dan Slott's going to provide it though. He'll likely do it without resorting to a crossover gimmick too.

I know Marvel's "no more ideas" edict is out the window, but I can't help but feel a compulsory desire to check this book out. It is going to be a good-looking book. And I think this will be the first time Bendis has written Marvel Pete in a more intimate setting.

ACTUALY NO! sense the death of spider man arc all ultimate spider books have been great, and Jonathan hickmans ultimates is the best ultimate series sense The Ultimates 2 BY FAR! ultimate x-men i havent read but the general consensus is that it is reasonably good, and ultimate hawkeye was a very good mini series.

this book may not have a really original story but its how well it is written and pulled off that matters! the originality of the storyline doesnt dictate if it is a good book or not, what matters is how it is written an such

Well, thats, um, Im not interested. Bendis probably just wanted to write 616 peter before leaving the avengers after AvX. This was probably one of the few ways he could do it without having to go through slott.
