I'm glad we know now why he disappeared off the face of the earth for almost a year.
And here I thought that this movie couldn't get any cooler.
I knew he'd been hired by del Toro but I assumed it was for inSANE. I also knew that he'd been living in Toronto; he made an unannounced appearance (along with del Toro) at Fan Expo last year.
Can't wait to see what he's cooked up... and, of course, can't wait for more comics from an Eisner-winning master.
Strangebeard: It's not the size of the pirate in the fight, but the size of the fight in the pirate.
I didnt know Marquis volume 2 was coming out this summer. I have been missing more Guy Davis new work to get.
I hope he gets back to comics after this film. I have becomes used to his different art style. I still think his best work is Sandman Mystery Theatre artwise, the noir story, vibe, hero fit him really well. I hope he does a series like that again and not only supernatural stories.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
I don't know that it is. It hasn't appeared in the Dark Horse solicitations, and so far they're all the way up to August. If it is still coming out this year it'll be between September-December. What few preview images I've seen of The Marquis and the Midwife look stunning though.
