I noticed that Batman #8 will be $3.99. Will this be the price of the comic from now on? Will they be adding pages to it?

They'll be adding pages, describing the origins of the Court of Owls.
The series now features a back up co-written by Snyder, and a former student of his James Tynion. The first four back ups will be drawn by American Vampire co-creator Rafael Albuquerque. #8's back up will be about the history of the Court of Owls, and #9-11 will be a story called "Fall of the House of Wayne" that deals a lot with Bruce's parents, and Alfred's father.
im intrested what the fall of the house of wayne will be .
To add to his question, do we know yet if the price increase is for the duration of the title or just the remaining issues of the current arc?
Ever-changing Pulls
DC - Batman, Aquaman, JL, JLD, JLA, Green Lantern, Vibe, Flash, Constantine, Earth 2
Image - Saga
Dark Horse - Star Wars
It's for the duration (or at least until they change their minds). Detective is getting the same thing. They're essentially doing the same thing in these titles that they've been doing with Action and JLA since the beginning of the reboot (and likely for much the same reason: they're all among their best selling titles).

Because if you want to increase the price of something for minimum effort, the best thing to do is use the titles that everyone will buy anyway...
That said, I'm looking forward to the Batman back-ups.
Will the price drop on Comixology after month still be $1.99, or will it be $2.99 now?
What do DC's other 3.99 titles do after a month? My guess is Batman and Tec will follow suit.
they drop to 2.99
