Default Liefeld believes his "haters" to be "hipsters"

    So, I read this:

    http://robot6.comicbookresources.com...-1-hipsters-0/

And literally laughed out loud. Look, I'm not a Rob hater in the slightest. I actually enjoyed the INFINITE and was sad to learn it was ending over some creative dispute (based on online reports, I think Kirkman was right, but whatever). I've enjoyed Rob's work in the past and hated it other times.

But, for him to classify his haters as just "hipsters" makes no sense. Does Rob think before posting things like this? Certainly not helping his case.

“The Hipsters don’t know what to do when I draw feet. It confuses them.”

Usually because they don't look like feet.

Also, does that mean he's calling his fans squares?

The guy has always been pretty arrogant and out of touch..(from what Ive read) .. this article doesn't surprise me. I am surprised that DC has brought him in. I guess they are figuring what harm can he do to 3 dead in the water titles anyways.. maybe they can attract a handful of trainwreck gawkers before the books sink to the bottom. I guess he hoping that all of his Youngbood fans have forgotten why they quit buying his books back then. (or maybe he is hoping that they have all either died of old age or outgrown comics)

His fingers are square and his feet are...I don't even know.

But he is the one that is drawing comic books, so he has us there.

Well, then I'll stick with more "artistic" bad penciling like Frazer Irving, thank you very much. :P

Of all things from that period...why oh why did DC have to resurrect the zombie?

He's just acting like that because his Book is getting a Tint-Titans style book.

But the above looks so awesome!

The Liefeld issue is interesting. He isn't a great artist, but some of his work has charm. In fact, some of his work is terrible, but it was the 90s. I think that excuses just about everything. Or condemns everything, depending on your perspective.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

I see two feet in the pic, two badly drawn feet. But let's look at the rest of the picture.
Deathstoke's head is a perfect oval, no definition.
His legs look off, you can see the foot on one, but that leg seems to end about mid-calf compared to the other leg.
His left arm just kind of vanishes at the wrist. I know it's near the edge of the frame, but you can still look and see the missing hand.
Lobo's right foot seems to be.. juxtaposed with Deathstroke's shoulderpad. It's not sitting on the ground, but not drawn to look like it's resting on the pad either.
The grimaces... oh man the grimaces.

Guess that means this old guy that I am is a hipster now.
