Some fairly interesting news there. Ultimately I'm glad the second story Captain Marvel stuff will play SOME role in the main story. I don't want these things to be shoved in the back so other characters can have a "hey I exist!" and then disappear entirely, not to be heard of for a long while.

I think that's just more of an in joke than anything. Although seeing a return of him would be rather funny and a big "WTF" moment for those not familiar with Cap's history.
