WWE Champion CM Punk says he is working on making his August 11th Wizard World Comic Con appearance in Chicago "something special."

Punk also wrote about his upcoming WWE DVD:

"Just had an advanced screening of my DVD for a select few family members. So proud of it. Working on a lot of cool things for its release."

- John Cena winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match was not something WWE came up with months ago as Cena was originally scheduled to take the Money in the Bank pay-per-view off.

- WWE decided not to change the WWE Title or the World Heavyweight Title at Money in the Bank because of a new directive from Triple H. Word is that he now wants champions to hold their titles for longer than they have been.

The problem with bringing them up is that theres no fucking point.
Sin Cara can work a fine WWE match, thats what they wanted, but he's shit at working that match compared to guys like Rey, or even evan bourne, or john morrison. Why pay to bring up a luchadore and then shit on him for not being able to work the wwe style? Why do you bother signing the guy?
Yeah, learning english is a legit problem, Sin Cara isn't going to get over not speaking, because so much of the program runs on promos. The only program sin cara can get in is a guy attacking him.

It's probably not worth bringing in a "name" luchador who can't speak English. I don't think they should write off everyone, I think there's value in finding a couple of young guys and teaching them WWE style, but since WWE's just going to change their names anyways, it almost doesn't matter who they were elsewhere (if they're equally talented).

He was treading water in developmental before they hired Sin Cara, though.

Believe me, I'm not down on luchadors, but if WWE thinks that the problem is adapting to their style and speaking English, then the solution is to make sure they can speak English when hired, and to get ahold of them when they're still developing. If you look at Sin Cara, he was a big deal main-eventer for a number of years in Mexico - his style had to be pretty much set in stone for that to happen. It would be like taking John Cena and asking him to start working lucha-style. And since what Sin Cara was doing worked there, he may have been resistant to changing what he was doing. So if you get guys who are young and already have some international experience (La Sombra is the guy I'd target, if it was up to me), but haven't locked down what they're doing 100%, they might not have such a difficult time grasping a different style.

The theory is, and ive been reading this all day, that Punk is more over than Sheamus, Punk is the first new star they have made in ages that has worked out, Punk is on the cover of the new videogame, Punk's tshirts sell, etc etc etc.
All the focus is on Punk and why Punk won't turn, and the line of thinking goes, well they have to turn someone, and Cena turning is the only new thing.
But...they aren't going to turn anyone else i don't think. They just turned Jericho, they might be turning bryan, why the fuck would they do a third turn?
