Following WWE's announcement Wednesday that Randy Orton had been suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the Talent Wellness Program, the SmackDown wrestler met with Chairman Vince McMahon, Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events Paul Levesque and Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn at the organization's headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut on Friday.

A WWE source described the meeting's atmosphere as "hostile;" it was determined that a further decision concerning Orton awaits. Furthermore, "several" officials are lobbying for his termination as a cost-cutting measure. They feel his lucrative ten-year contract—signed in January 2010—can no longer be justified if he is brought back in a mid-level role.

McMahon especially, is infuriated with Orton, who felt he had matured in recent years. The nine-time world champion's suspension reportedly stems from a positive drug test for the anabolic steroid Dianabol, which is banned by the United States Congress under its Controlled Substances Act. He also reportedly tested positive for marijuana, which is subject to a $2,500 fine.

Douglas was already better than Flair. But that's not hard to do.

The new title weights more than the spinner belt? I'm curious to see that thing, because I don't see how it's possible to weight more than the spinner belt. That thing is already pretty buiky.

Maybe this is an indicator that Big Show is going to beat Punk down the line, and they made a belt that actually fits him.

Like back in the day when Heenan wanted the WWF to make a new belt to fit Andre. Before the match at WrestleMania 3.

There's no way Orton goes another 7.5 years without failing a drug test of any kind. It's a shitty situation for everyone involved: Orton's only 32, which means he's got another productive decade in him. That crazy contract is working against him right now.

One more failed test and he's walking anyways. And Orton's been cut slack. The real question is if you wait for that failed test, cut bait, or bring him back to put a couple of people over before cutting him loose. Or do something more drastic - tell him to sit at home until they call. Both sides have a lot invested here, maybe making Orton sit until after next Wrestlemania would be worth it if meant getting him through the other 6.5 years on his deal.

They didn't screw up Angle. And considering Angle's age, Orton might be the guy to replace him.

But Flair's a multiple time world champion in WWE and WCW. And he's arguably considered the greatest of all time by plenty of people in the industry.

By most objective standards, I think Flair's got Douglas beat by a mile quite frankly.

He also has the benefit of being in an entertainment business and most people know who Flair is.
