In speaking to several sources over the weekend I can confirm that Dustin Runnels, better known under the name of Goldust during his WWE career was released from his contract with the company. Runnels competed for the company on its RAW brand and was a producer for the company on its SmackDown brand and is the person in question in regards to Kevin Nash’s tweet early last week on Twitter.

Runnels, who had been heavily hyping a potential feud against his brother Cody Rhodes on Twitter at WrestleMania XXVIII, which never happened, returned briefly to television towards the end of 2011 on several episodes of SmackDown, as well as the WWE Slammy Awards show, with his last appearance coming on the April 9th, 2012 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW when he and other WWE officials attempted to break up the brawl between Brock Lesnar and John Cena that left Cena with a busted lip.

I can also confirm that there will be several more releases in the coming weeks as the company reshapes its roster prior to calling up several talents from Florida Championship Wrestling, as well as their announcement in regards to the future of their developmental territory process itself over the summer.
I wonder who will be in charge of the Divas now? It's not really Goldie's fault that Kharma got knocked up, but there hasn't been much good with the women in the year since that happened.

It would be really stupid, but the sheer hilarity of it would be worth it all.
And then brock goes into mania never having won a match.
Anything that puts Brock into berserker mode is a good thing. I was actually MORE interested in seeing Raw last night, just to see Brock's reaction to losing. And I wasn't disappointed.
