That Jurgens cover is a million times better than what Rag Morals puts out.

Not that looks like Superman. Only question is if he was naked on the roof before changing into the costume. Either way, looks good. Also, that Season 11 art looks hilariously bad and like a Jim Lee knock off. Surely no ones going to take that book seriously, especially since it doesnt look like the actors.

One of the stronger theories out there is that new powers are popping up because Kara herself is the missing fifth Worldkiller that Reign mentioned in the last issue.

And as far as those powers, really the only one that's been categorically confirmed thus far is the full-bodied solar flare thing she's done twice now.

She also seems to be able to regulate the intensity of the energy since she uses her stored solar power to energize the sunstone terminal. I imagine her new power is going to continue the trend of energy manipulation/absorption. Maybe she can absorb other energy sources than solar.

It might not be a coincidence that Kara's DCnU emblem is a red and yellow version of Clark's Electro Phase "S". Energy manipulation and absorption was a part of his power set then.

When Bizarro does show up officially in the DCnU, I actually would like it if he sported a variation of Clark's "t-shirt and jeans" look, just with darker colors and the backwards "S".

...and that Dan Jurgens cover? Pure. Awesomeness. He can make the new suit look cool. It's also nice to see a Superman that looks like an adult and not a teenager. I also wonder about Giffen not being in the credits, but it could just be a mistake on DC's part. I haven't heard anything about him leaving the book. Or possibly Giffen was behind on deadlines, so Jurgens is pitch hitting for him that month. I haven't heard or seen anything about Keith leaving .

This is the best the abomination of a Superman suit has looked and somehow makes it look as classic as possible. Dan Jurgens is doing everything he can to please everyone on this and I thank him more then anything for understanding and for trying to reach those like me. He is a true Superman legend on every level.

Well...seeing as DCnU Superboy no longer sports the t-shirt look...why not? DCnU Year One Superman is basically DCU Conner Kent with a cape and blue shirt, so I don't see it as any more of a rip off. Add a ratty and torn cape to it, and it would work.

It seems the most logical that Bizarro would easily cobble together the t-shirt look based on dim memories he would get from Clark. I don't see another Kryptonian Bio-tech suit just laying around, unless Lex (if Lex is still Bizarro's creator in DCnU) somehow makes a really good fake that Bizarro adapts.

Superman still looks like its going good. Has there been any confirmation if it's just Jurgens on the book now or is Keith still co writing/plotting?

I haven't seen anything official about Jurgens taking over the book completely. He hasn't mentioned anything on his twitter feed, and nothing official from DC yet. It may be a "one-off" where Jurgens is filling both duties that month while Giffen takes a break, or just a mistake in the solicits.

This is probably a rest month for Giffen. If I remember correctly, The Superman family of books is having a crossover in the summer. Which will most likely be August.
