It sounds like Levitz has some pretty good ideas with the dominators. I hope things go well, the legion doesn't get enough love.

This big needs ... something, still.

Look, Levitz is a legend, and in his own way he's a genius. He's certainly erudite, and the things he's doing with this book are smart as hell. He is meticulous about world and character building, extrapolating from modern political and social movements, norms and issues. I'm continually impressed by how well thought out his work is when he does an interview, it's clearly not just about putting out a fun story.

But his work is so dry, and so purposeful, that it misses any artistic flourish, energy, pizzazz, or poetry. It needs someone to bring in some energy, and some big ideas. Someone like Giffen, or Hickman.

I think this is going to be great, you are talking about the man who scripted Earthwar and the Great Darkness Saga. If anyone can make this great, it will be Levitz.

I've gotten a peak behind the curtains, at what's to come, and I have seen some very interesting things. Paul Levitz is joined by Francis Portela and Yilderay Cinar and I know that they are serious about making the 31st Century an interesting place to visit.

I am loving the series, but it needs more Projectra!
Mr. Lightle VERY glad to see your work on the Legion again soon! You have always been one of my favorite LOSH artists and drew one of my favorite sequences ever, the "execution" of Nemesis Kid. Chilling work.

Great! You're my favorite living Legion artist. Not counting Alan Davis, because he wasn't a regular. Draw more Legion! Please!

Thanks for the kind welcome, everyone. I signed on as Legion cover artist with number eight - and I'll be drawing the cover to number 12 today. In the meantime, I hope you like the interior work I did on LSH #8. It should be out this week. It's certainly been fun returning to the 31st century!

Mr. Lightle - Did you design Sensor's Girl mask/costume when she was first introduced in the Legion in the 80's?

Great interview, I look forward to the Dominator issues. And before that, Yildiray and Steve. If you're still out there, Steve, thanks for so much entertainment, and I'm thrilled you're back at DC. It's weird to think of you as a veteran, to me you'll always be the New Talent Showcase tyro
