Oh and how is Annihilators?
After Thanos Imperative proper is Thanos Imperative: Devastation, an epilogue one-shot. That leads directly into Annihilators, which in turn goes to Annihilators: Earthfall.
I didn't care for the first Annihilators mini. I thought the main story was okay, that the backup story was terrible, and that the art overall just wasn't my cup of tea. As such, I haven't read Earthfall.

Good overall. Some don't like it because it doesn't star the same old characters they've read about a million times. Or they were just mad because Quasar was written like a normal person instead of some god. I thought the story in the 1st was good. The story was a little rushed and very Deus Ex Machina in the 2nd and the art was bad.
Price your book at $3.99 and I'll trade wait. Make me wait too long for the trade PAPERback and I'll say screw it. I'm looking at you Marvel and Spider Island.
Thanks guys. Is this TI: Devastation included in the TI HC?
The first was Annihilators and the 2nd was Annihilators: Earthfall.
The first one was basically about The Space Knights (they couldn't use ROM himself) and the Dire Wraiths. The 2nd was about the Magus, occurred on Earth, and featured a brief throwdown vs the Avengers.
Both series had a Rocket Raccoon and Groot backup.

Worth getting in HC? Or just read plot? I love collecting books, but as long as they are worth re-reading in the future.
If you stopped reading after Thanos Imperative you didn't miss anything. There were lots of reasons why I didn't like the two Annihilator minis but it's easiest to just say they were both really bad and you are better off reading almost anything else or perhaps squirting lemon juice into your eyes instead and saving yourself some time and money.
I think after Thanos Imperative, they went straight to only TPBs (I'm not sure about Annihilators, but there was no HC for Earthfall). I've already read the Annihilators TPB, and am waiting for the Earthfall one to arrive any day now. I agree that it is inferior to the excellent run of cosmic stories that we were having, specially artwise, which, though not at all horrendous, is also not some of the best I've seen. However, it can be enjoyable. A lot of people missed the presence of the previous roll of cosmic characters, and there wasn't much in the order of character development with the ones that were featured. However, let's be honest, other than Quasar, most of the other don't have all that much of a personallity to be developed (even so, previously, DnA did find traces of one to be explored with guys like Ronan and Gladiator). All in all, inferior to all the previous cosmic installments ever since Annihilation, however, I still found it more entretaining than a lot of what Marvel's been peddling nowadays. Looking foward to Earthfall, even if I'll have to suffer the presence of "Avengers" such as Rulk and Wolverine.
Peace
After Thanos Imperative, there are two Annihilators minis, which aren't as good as what came before but aren't extremely bad as some would say. But artwise and with the characters themselves, they falter and in case of the characters, seem to try to heavily to attempt to be new reader friendly and thus action dictates the story and the great characterization that helped make Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy fan favorites takes gets left at the bus stop two towns back.
But aside from that I would have to recommend taking a quick glance at Hickman's Fantastic Four/FF run, it takes the Inhumans and Kree in a separate direction, which will be followed up on later this year in that book along within the Secret Avengers AvX tie in.
Is Thanos Imperative worth picking up?
