    Hey peeps,

Any news on the Tech Jacket ongoing? Kirkman as hinted to it a bunch of times, but nothing so far...

    It'd be awesome!

My guess is that he's just too damn busy with his other books to write it. So unless he decides to let another writer handle it you're probably not going to see this. He did do a new Tech Jacket story as a back up story in Invincible last year. Did you catch that?

He also wanted to go back to Brit, do more Astounding Wolfman, and something with Guarding the Globe. Will it happen? Not unless he expands his team. I mean he just started Thief of Thieves as is, he is crazy busy.

I would love for Invincible 'background' characters to get their own series again. Of course, if it ended up like 'Guarding the Globe', where it started off real strong but then hit delays and artwork problems, finishing off pretty weak, I dunno if I'd want them...

    IDW: TMNT, MTMTE, G.I. Joe
    Dynamite: Pathfinder
    Red 5: Atomic Robo

    I forgot all about Techjacket.

Kirkman is going to have to form his own work for hire studio to get all of his projects out.

I wouldnt mind that at all. Their are alot of characters that I would love to follow in their own books... GOTG, Tech Jacket, Wolf-Man, Capes, and Actioneers, to name a few. Kirkman has a HUGE Universe to play in.

And one of the best things about Kirkman (besides his work) is that he is YOUNG! He has so much time to do whatever he wants where he doesn't have to overdo himself so that he can put out quality work. I think he's 33 or 34 or something which is young compared to some of the other folks these days.

Kirkman has stated that he will only do another Tech Jacket series when both he and the original artist have the time, which at present seems to be very far in the offing. Maybe in a few years when his schedule has calmed down some?

I agree. Being that he writes comics and doesn't work construction, he has atleast another 35 years of writing left in him. I'd rather see these ideas panned out over than period and be done correctly, then be pushed out on an assembly line.
Pull List: Saga, Danger Club, Invincible, Chew, Animal Man, Aquaman, Supergirl, Earth 2, Dancer, The Flash, TWD, Before Watchmen, Harbinger, and Swamp Thing

Ya, look at Stan Lee. He's like a million and he's just going around doing whatever he wants, like the romeo and juliet thing and a bunch of other random stuff.
