I'm sorry that you couldn't enjoy a fun Spider-Man moment of an Avengers comic.

    Forgive me.

No problem I'm too used to Spider-Man being comedic relief or the butt of jokes

    Negative

"Born and raised in Harlem, Carl Lucas spent his youth in a gang called the Bloods. With his friend Willis Stryker, he fought the rival gang the Diablos and committed petty thefts, often on behalf of deformed crimelord Sonny Caputo, a.k.a. Hammer. In and out of juvenile homes throughout his teens, Lucas dreamed of becoming a major New York racketeer until he finally realized how his actions were hurting his family; he sought to better himself as an adult, finding legitimate employment"

It was a gang but it wasn't really a criminal gang when Lucas was involved. The Rivals were just punks not full fledged criminals. The worst crimes they possibly committed were stealing some snacks from a convenience store and fight rival gangs.

I don't think we have any hard evidence or examples of Lucas committing any crimes on panel per-going to prison

Even if we were to go with that, he would still be around people that could of imparted those skils

I can tell you from personal experience, there was a kid when I went to high school who made a joke about how I should or probably could hotwire a car. and I'll say there was absolutely no basis for this claim. At the time the joke didn't bother me, even today I really don't care, and its a minor issue but its there nonetheless, whether Bendis even realized it or not.
I'm also black, but have never had that experience. I hope yours was a unique case. I've heard and made plenty of stereotype jokes with my friends, but this one is new to me.

Peter should have been instrumental in ousting him from power and ending Dark Reign, instead he doesn't do anything beyond what Bendis has been having him do..........comic relief.

I mean Cap, Cage and Ironman do more to Osborn than Spidey ever does, and after all the terrible things Osborn has done to Pete you'd think Pete would want to get after this man a little more
As much as I loved what happened with Norman in upping his villain cred and making him more of a Universal threat, I do agree that I think that more could have been done with Spidey and Norman. As much as Norman did to the other heroes, I think it kind of pales to what was done to Spidey. Him hitting Norman at the end of SIEGE was a little emotional satisfying, but I was kind of hoping for a major throwdown.

To be fair, I doubt that anything having to do with Spider-Man would have met with his satisfaction.

It more plays into the criminal black man stereotype. In this case there maybe cause for Cage knowing this, doesn't mean its not a stereotype. Doesn't mean some stereotypes are based on truth.

Believe me I'm sure the incident I experienced was an irregular one. I think the scenario started with me and a couple of classmates needing to get somewhere, and somehow this kid named Robby suggested I hotwire a car. It was really random and I don't think he meant anything malicious by it.

I would have been satisfied if instead of Tony disabling the armor, which I found kind of cheap, Spidey and Osborn threwdown right before Sentry went all Voidy. Or, they could have fought while everybody else went after the Void. Spider-Man is my all time favorite superhero, but I think he would have made very little difference against the Void even hopped up on Norn Stones.

I give Bendis a lot of grief, but he can do interpersonal moments VERY well.
