here is somthing else i hateish about walter simonsons art, LOGIC...... why is cap able to punch at Magneto why isnt mags just warping caps sheild around him, ugh...... logicly cap would almost definatly avoid combat agenst mags.
hmmmmm Storms there, i wonder if she is just ariving, or if she managed to warn the x-men the events in the main book would seem like a no, but the preview for new avengers we got a day or 2 ago showed her tramping off when cap was laying out his plan to the comlective avengers

agreed sir, cap could have been a little bit nicer in the conversation with him and cyclops and been more direct in explaining that no harm would come to hope, but still, well this page says it all, cap is sticking to the point and emergency at hand and cyclops isnt even listening to him

i really think thats later and he is not coming from the helicarrier its a x-plane look at the outline of it in the sky, collosses smashes the hel carrier in issue 2 and coipel dosent start drawing the book until issue 5

Pretty good Axel-in-Charge this week. However, I find it funny that he questioned Gambit being as popular as Cyclops, I actually would think he is more popular. If they got the same amount of panel time, Gambit would def be more popular and as it is now, probably the same.

That Coipel art is really, really good and I agree that it overshadows JRJR's by a lot. I think JRJR can be quite good sometimes (I liked some of his work in the 80s and on Spider-Man in the 90s) but when he does the half-assed sketch stuff - which is what I felt AvX was - it's awkward and forgettable. Too bad. AvX #1 really should have packed more punch. The Avengers/Chrysler building scene in particular looked super-clunky.

I do like that Alonso suggested that Scott knew the Hellicarrier was there, since it makes his reaction a little more understandable. It wasn't clear to me that he expected it in the actual comic.
