    Ape Entertainment and Children's Television Workshop have officially announced plans to release a series of "Sesame Street" comic books in print and digital format.

    The sad part is that this isn't the company's first foray into comics, as people can recall the Electric Company deal, with cameos from Sesame Street. Yet, this is the first time the actual show itself gains a comic and uses its iconic characters in such a way that no one would have saw coming.

    You know now that I think about it, I wonder if they could get Carrol Spinney, the man who does Big Bird and Oscar, to do a special variant cover, given that Spinney himself is an artist.
