Willing to bet the traitor is Black Spider. I think the color is a hint. And he was one of the guys who was with the team at the beginning who wasn't with the Squad when they first went after Basilisk. It's not El Diablo because we saw how we got on the team. And I doubt it's the Savant character since he cut a deal with Waller.
Not bad, apart from the bland coloring on the first few pages (but I get the reason for that).
One question, though - how do they get 'serpent power' from 'Basilisk'. It's a type of lizard, not a snake.![]()
I believe there's such thing as a basilisk lizard, but there's also the mythological basilisk which looks like a very large snake/servant, which this organization is probably named after
The mythological Basilisk is the king of serpents and some depictions are more snake like.
I'm going to 2nd FHIZ on it being Black Spider. Always look forward to reading this book, thought I can't say this preview has me psyched, I'm at least curious to see how it plays out.
Okay, I can probably buy that. Thanks guys.
(Still should have left it as Kobra, rassum frassum...)
Whoever called in the last thread Deadshot growing his stache back due to the the scar Harley gave him, damn, spot on.
So I was a little unsure as what to what was going on with the roster shake-up (of sorts). Savant was released from the prison and is back to vigilante work, right? If he was released from the prison after only one mission what did he even do to end up in prison in the first place? Jaywalk?
And yeah, I get the sense that Black Spider is the traitor since he has no real reason to stay anyway.
The 'stache being back is great and Basilisk having a mole looks like it'll be fun.
