On topic note - I do sadly think that Diamondback would be a very unlikely addition to any team book at the moment. They'd be taking a risk on the book anyway (and by "risk" I mean someone at a Marvel editorial meeting has to bring up the idea of a book that by it's very nature can't and won't feature a "big four / six" member and manage to keep their job) and it's unlikely they'd risk it further by going down to the bottom of the C and D lists for their cast.

I think She Hulk is a given.

I guess it depends on how Marvel want to play this. If they are going to do what they seem to be doing everywhere else at the mo and using the same few characters.

I guess that would make the difference between whether we get Black Cat or Hell cat.

I hope it's a good mix. My main issue with using the big names is you can't do anything that matters with them.


I mean Im sure if you wanted to change the status quo of Valkyrie, it would ahve to be agrees by Remender and his editors.

But if you wanted to do something with long term affects to the Black Widow I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to right now, because she's in the film.

Bunn and Asmus both strike me as having a more modern/old school mix style of storytelling. In which case I'd like to see them let loose on characters like Yellowjacket, Hellcat, Diamondback, She-Thing, Lyja, Firestar. Characters they can tap into the potential and make their own.

But at the moment the book wouldn't work without a Storm, Invisible Woman, or Black Widow, Captain Marvel or Spider Woman at the forefront.

What I do know is that if it is either Bunn or Asmus writing, I'm on board even if they have a chimp do the art.

I would love to see these two form one of those old school writing partnerships. Juts have a feeling about it and they both seem to play well with others.

Also has anyone else notices how most of the Marvel female characters are named after animals.

I actually think the animal theme could be a cool way to make up a team. You could do some animal presence or something like that.
