I am totally all for that! I'm inclined to suggest tumblr because of its easy like/reblog system, which would get the tumblr exposure really quickly (and yeah, the updates from fuckyeahroguengambit tumblr are sporadic at best these days), and because I'm personally familiar with it, and how posts get popular and noticed with masterposts and graphic sets like
this,
this and
this being all the rage. Furthermore, a tumblr would allow other Romy fans from around the web to be able to submit and contribute pictures/quotes/perhaps even fanfic.
Or a wonderful twist: an Ask Rogue and Gambit tumblr blog. Ask blogs are insanely popular in the comic book fandom on tumblr. For anyone who doesn't know what an askblog is -- it's usually a tumblr blog that someone sets up in-character (say, Damian Wayne) and answers questions from users
as that character, usually with pictures that the person has done herself/himself or handwritten notes (done when the person has no artistic skill whatsoever). It's essentially a form of roleplay, but these blogs also serve as character shrines as well, and users also pictures/quotes/drabbles about said character in addition to the in-character replies. It can be time-consuming if you don't have the skill/patience to draw responses to questions, however. This is what an
askgambit blog looks like.
This is also another ask-response typical of an askblog. Again, this type of site would be a lot of work, but I'm just throwing this out there for consideration.
If you guys ever decide to do a tumblr, I'll be more than happy to help! I know a lot of active and prominent Romy fans and blogs on tumblr that I can enlist to help contribute, or at least, help spread the word that a new Romy tumblr is up and running.
If you decide on a website itself, I'll be more than happy to help in that area as well! brainstorming witty names as we speak!
