NAME: Camryn (Cammy) Durand

CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: Camryn was always a bit different from the other children. She just didn’t have the same tastes. She didn’t keep up with styles, she didn’t enjoy the same music, and because of that, she never made many friends. As time went on, the friends she did have moved to other parts of the city. In the end, she was alone- most of the time, anyway. She still had parents who loved tried to help her socialize more, but it hasn’t made much of a difference. She joined sports teams- soccer/football and basketball specifically. There weren't any local teams though. The friends she made here were all spread out across a few districts. Playing sports gave her a competitive spirit and some drive, but in the end she was still alone.
Not really having friends to talk to left her very quiet without much self-esteem to speak of. She’s smart though- fairly intuitive too. Her grades were good and her teachers spoke well of her to her parents. Despite their support, she never really excelled in her classes. She was very nearly popular once- when she discovered her powers. Then she accidentally torched a car. Her social status plummeted again, the ridicule forcing her deeper into her shell.
And then, when things looked their bleakest, they came for her. Her parents were her only real lifeline, and was was taken away against her will. Kidnapped. Sure, the government made it look very official and sat down with her and her parents before hand, but in the end, nothing they could say or do would prevent her from being taken away. They told her that her powers made her a danger to herself and everyone around her- that she needed to be controlled. They said that left unchecked, her powers could make her a threat to the life of every man, woman, and child in the city. The Paragons told her that she was going to be put through a strict training regime, far more strict than what students normally go through. Her parents cried as they took her away. She begged them to not let them take her. They couldn't do anything.
She hated it. She hated them. She didn't want any of this. Given the chance, she'd give up her powers and run back to her parents and give life at school another chance. She was surrounded by elemancers, elemanti, and enhancers. She had never known any- only seen them from a distance. Her district had little need for them. Part of her was excited though- maybe the other 'students' here wouldn't be so bad. Maybe she'd find somewhere she belonged. Another part wanted to burn the place to the ground. The third part just wanted to cry.

Volcanus - Cammy's power manifests itself as the ability to control and manipulate volcanic energy, materials, and substances at will. When she channels this power, her arms and legs transform below the elbow and knee respectively. Her skin hardens and blackens, becoming blackened volcanic rock. Molten rock and flames burn under the skin, glowing through the cracks and wreathing her hands and feet in flames. Her hair, when the rest of her was turned into rock, would transform into waving flame. The amount of her body that is transformed into volcanic rock and magma is determined by her combined Fire and Earth stat. 5 for hands and feet, 25 for arms and legs, 75 for full body. The power of Cammy's lava is determined by her combined Fire and Earth stats.
Living Magma - Cammy is capable of regenerating parts of her body transformed into volcanic rock and magma as though her combined scores in Earth and Fire were Stamina (to a limited degree). This ability does not give her the other benefits of increased Stamina.
Rock Solid - Increases the durability of Cammy's molten parts by 1/3rd her Earth Power.
Elemental Transformation - Cammy is capable of manipulating the molten parts of her body as though she were manipulating earth or lava.

Energize - Cammy is capable of infusing inorganic materials with energy, rapidly super-heating them. The range and amount of damage/heat infused is based on Fire Power.
Fire Affinity - Cammy has a resistance equal to 2x her Fire Power stat to the effects of intense heat and fire while she is channeling her volcanic abilities.
Searing Aura - Cammy is capable of energizing air, super heating it to the point where it would cauterize the lungs of someone who inhaled it without sufficient resistance to heat, which is equal or greater to Cammy's Fire power. This also disrupts all flight involving wind and all wind based attacks unless the user has a Wind score greater than Cammy's Fire score. This move can be disrupted by a Wind score 1.5x Cammy's Fire score.
Earth Tones - Cammy can disguise her appearance using certain shades of very fine earth, making her looks like anyone or anything, within reason.

Geomancy - Cammy can shape and control rocks, soil, etc. The power is based on her Earth power, the range is based on the GM's discretion.
Epicenter - Cammy can produce a directed shockwave of force with power equal to her Earth stat. Cammy can produce the shockwave from any part of her body or any earth or lava/magma under her control.

Siphon - Cammy can siphon the kinetic energy out of a target, effectively reducing its speed, strength, or power (of an attack in progress) by an amount equal to Cammy's Leyline stat. After the target has been drained Cammy may augment her speed, strength, or power with the siphoned energy for (Leyline power) seconds. Cammy cannot drain from the same target more than once at a time. The moment she does anything with this augmented energy she loses its benefit.

CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: At the age of 7, Henri lost his parents to a car crash. Already a troubled child, due to his father's drunken rages and his mothers drug addiction, Henri ran away from any attempt at placing him in a foster home. While roaming through Sector 11, he met up with and joined a gang of five other orphaned kids, all nicknaming themselves after Demons of Hebrew mythology. Henri took the name Azazel and for four years, ran with the gang, making frequent excursions into the Scoop. Life was rough, but he had his crew and his freedom, and he didn't care much about the future.
His life would change when, at the age of 11, he and his gang got into a fight against a trio of criminals who they tried to steal from. Said criminals turned out to be Class C level Elemancers, and promptly started to kick the shit out of the gang. However, the group was saved at the last minute by an Elemancer: a Class A Water wielder named Heather Cervenka, who hailed from Sector 4. Heather offered to take the kids in, but all of them refused. Henri, however, saw an opportunity to score some big time money and perhaps some free meals and a couple nights rest in a real bed. Mend his wounds, stay a couple nights in a sweet home, and then steal some valuables to bring back to the gang.
That was the plan, of course. Things didn't work out that way, however. Heather showed Henri a kindness and comfort he hadn't expected from an adult, much less one of upper class status. She also showed a capacity to see right through his bullshit and not fall for his ploys. Intrigued by the woman, he opted to stick around for a while. Eventually, he accepted her offer to adopt him, and for the first time, he actually considered what he would do for his future. For another four years, he studied hard to make up for lost time, and made new friends in school.
Then, another woman entered his life; when he was fifteen, he got a girlfriend named Maggie. Herself an Elemanti, but only of Class F level, Maggie was a flighty girl with a weak constitution, but a sharp and sly mind. Intrigued by Henri, she seduced him at a party, and for a short while, the two had a fling. Henri, not used to really dealing with girls, just sort of went along with it; even agreeing to let Maggie practice her tattoo art on him. And then, Maggie dropped the bombshell: she was pregnant. That was the last thing she said to him before she disappeared. Several months later, she died in childbirth, and Henri was contacted by the hospital. At the age of 15, Henri found himself a single father.
With support from Heather, Henri has worked even harder these past three years to do well in school and open up good opportunities for work. He has done well enough taking care of his child, though as a result, this has made it difficult to maintain any real social life; Henri has become serious and driven to a fault. Even so, he was rather unfocused as to what he actually wanted to do with his life.
And then, one day, he awakened to his power. One of his tattoos suddenly popped off his skin and started flitting about, curiously inspecting his home. Freaked out at first, he was encouraged when his daughter, Anne, went up to the creature, and it played with her in a whimsical game of chase. Eventually, the creature faded, and the tattoo returned to his skin. Heather insisted he go in for testing, and he was discovered to be an Elemanti with an unusual twist to his power: he could create elemental spirits, based on the tattoo designs Maggie had etched into his skin, and through them, he could project elemental powers.
In a way, Henri is glad for this power. He willingly submitted his application to the various schools, and now hopes to land a good career as a civil servant or soldier for his country, the better to help take care of his daughter. If he has any regrets, its that being at the school limits the time he can see her, which causes him some distress, but he visits or calls when he can.
PERSONALITY: Henri used to be a wild child, but has become quite serious in life, due to his family obligations. He is a little awkward socially, and could stand to loosen up a bit; he is certainly not opposed to making new friends, he's just forgotten how. He may seem distracted at times, because he has a lot on his mind, but once he opens up a bit, he's easier to talk to. He is a driven young man.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Heather - While he doesn't really see Heather as a "mother", exactly, he loves and admires her as a mentor and guardian. He still looks up to her, and knows he'd probably be dead in a gutter if it wasn't for her. He hence owes her a lot.
Anne - Of course, he loves his daughter and she is his number one motivation in life, but he lacks some confidence in his capacity as a father.
Samhain and Alistair - The only remaining members of his former gang still alive, they have both become hardened criminals, with some potent underworld connections. While they can't get to him at the moment, neither have forgotten how "Azazel" abandoned them, and should they meet again, their reunion will not be a friendly one.

By channeling his elemental energies, Maggie's tattooes pop off his skin and become quasi-sentient elemental spirits who obey Henri's commands. There are eight spirits in total, and though all of them can be summoned, only four of them have manifested an actual power. For now, Henri can only "summon" one spirit at a time, though the number will grow over time.

Fire Aura - Imbues the target with an aura of flames for a short period of time, allowing melee attacks to inflict burning damage. This can also be extended to weapons.
LUMINA (right foot)
Light Bend - Distorts light around a target, causing them to appear several feet away from where they actually are, or making an object seem bigger or smaller than it actually is or mishapen. Can also render someone completely invisible as well, using surrounding images to "cover" the target.

Gem Missile - Three diamonds rip out of the ground and fire at the enemy with bullet-like force.

CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: Eisen was brought up in Sector 1 by her uncle, Doctor Deidrich Schneider - a brillaint yet eccentric scientist. Having been raised and home schooled in the doctor's enormous labroratory of a home, she has led an extremely sheltered life.
Never the less, eventually her uncle finally decided to let her go outside for once. While nobody is entirely sure what transpired that day, it ultimately resulted in Eisen sending three grown men to the healing tanks of the local hospital. In light of this, Dr Schneider decided to send her to the Arcadia academy, both to learn to control her immense strenght better and to get some much-needed social exposure.
Eisen is a bright and cheerful girl, but somewhat naive due to her upbringing. Her isolation did not make her shy - quite the contrary, she approaches her brave new world with the innocence and wide-eyed curiosity of a four-week old kitten. While normally very friendly, her inexperience at interacting with other people can sometimes make her behavior come across as rather odd to others. She also has a habit of talking to herself when she thinks nobody can hear her.

APPERANCE:
CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: Gulliver served in the Paragons for over twenty-two years before retiring five years ago to become Headmaster at Arcadia Academy, where he had graduated when he was 18. Despite not possessing any Elemanti or Enhancer powers, Gulliver was one of the best fighters and soldiers the Paragons ever saw, and he more than once threw down with people out of his weight calss and won. Because of this reputation, he earned the nick-name 'No-Class', because no class was beyond him.
Because of this close relationship with the Paragons, Gulliver uses a somewhat unusual method to help train his students. He actually has them intern with the Paragosn as cadets to help train them better.
Gulliver is a man of few words when he's not instructing, and seems somewhat stern and foreboding. However, he is a very honest and loyal person, and is proad of his students.
PERSONAL SKILLS: Surprisingly, Gulliver is a talented artist and engineer.

CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: John in sector 13 with his father in a place close to, but not quite in the Scoop, although he did live in the nicer section. His mother died in child birth, at least that's what his father told him, dying during childbirth being something of a rarity in Eden.
John grew up with his father who he loved very much. His father was a washed up old boxer, with no superhuman skills whatsoever, while he did well against normal opponents, once enhancers and the like started entering the ring, he just couldn't compete and had to retire to a life of hard physical labor to support himself and his son.
While John and his father lived in something resembling squalor, John doesn't really remember it as a bad life. His father always made sure his needs were met, and always found time to spend with his son.
That is what made it all the worse the day when John was 10 and a man entered their home, and beat his father to death in front of John's eyes. He followed this up by pummeling John to near death, however luckily for him, immediately after the man left, as John lay dying, his abilities kicked in for the first time in his life, saving him.
John was passed from orphanage to foster home, and back again, until he was sixteen, a constant problem child. He would get into fights, get caught drinking, get caught taking drugs, get caught stealing, get caught dealing, and various other unlawful activities. This resulted in him staying in various juvenile detention agencies over the years. He had a few run ins with Father Jacob over the years, but he maintains that the man is a loon, a compassionate and kind loon, but a loon nonetheless.
His latest scuffle however resulted in another youth needing a prolonged hospital stay. This being a more serious offense, the only thing that kept John out of stay in the super powered big house was the Arcadian Academy which for some fool reason is interested in this washout. John is required to attend the academy under house arrest, only being allowed to leave the premises with an escort. If at anytime the academy expels or otherwise turns John over to the authorities, he will be forced to serve his time in prison.
James Flint from SH2 (for those that remember) was a good ol' boy, never meaning no harm. John's different. He's angry, hurt, and perfectly willing to take it out on anyone around him, particularly if he's under the influence.
What John wants most in the world is a crack at the man who killed his dad. However, he has no idea how to go about obtaining this opportunity, so while thoughts of vengeance often consume him, he is not actively pursuing it.
The man's face is burned into John's mind, and he would give anything to get at the man who took his father away from him, anything.
PERSONAL SKILLS: John is extremely stealthy from years of hide and seek. With the cops. He's also skilled in picking locks. Especially standard issue handcuffs.

Weapon/Martial Arts: She expertly wields the services of her bodyguard, Ramilia Orikagi. She is also highly proficient at Run&Hide-fu.
Appearance: Cute girl with big, brown eyes, long brown hair and a wonderful smile. She’s about 5’5 and 115 lbs.
Character History & Personality: Maxana "Max" Lindström was born into a prestigious family in the year 983 RE. Her father, Josef Lindström, was a famous industrialist, having built his company, Lindcorp, from the ground up on the backbone of his Elemancer (earth and durability) abilities. His quick rise to success afforded him and his budding family a life of wealth and a home in Sector 1. Her mother, Norda, stayed at home and raised her and her sister, an Enhancer, to be proper ladies fit for high society.
For the better part of thirteen years, Max enjoyed the good life that could only be bought with absurd riches. Her parents, more specifically her father, handled everything important, so she didn't have a care in the world. She was among the prettiest girls in school, so she was automatically popular in direct proportion to her beauty. It also helped that she had a delightful personality. Her grades were good, and her behavior that her mother spent the better part of her childhood molding earned her a good name with her instructors. She was the perfect little daughter, until she was fourteen.
Her whole life changed when a holo-theater was rocked by a 5.0 earthquake. She, of course, was found at the epicenter and was arrested. Her father paid for the damages and immediately made provisions for her to attend Arcadia Academy, no questions asked. She begrudgingly acquiesced and after graduation, she was enrolled.
Because she was raised in a privileged home, she is oblivious to the "struggles" of those from Sectors 2 - 13. She's a very friendly and cheerful young lady, and those who meet her find it easy to get along with her. If she does have one flaw, and she does, it's that she's a bit snobby at times. Okay, okay, she does have a few more flaws. One of which is that she's a bit of a coward, preferring to defer all violence to her bodyguard, Ramilia Orikagi, rather than fight herself. Confrontations usually end with her either hiding behind Ramilia while she "resolves" the issue, or her running to wherever Ramilia is and then hiding behind her while she "resolves" the issue. Needless to say, that tactic as helped preserve her beauty and kept her out of trouble. If she can't find her, she's screwed, because she can't fight and honestly feels that it is unbecoming of a lady to resort to violence. No, she doesn't consider Ramilia to be a lady because of this.

1. Fire Shower: Ignites the air around a target to bathe them in fire. Damage is equal to her fire stat.

3. Sunburn: Maxana can now manipulate existing fire, or generate her own fire throughout her body. The range of her pyrokinesis is equal to five meters per every Fire point. As a result of her pyromancy, she has a higher resistance to fire as well. Her durability against the element is equal to twice her Fire stat.

1. Rock Whip: Forms a four foot long whip out of medium sized rocks. She can detach the end rock just before the whip recoils as a kind of projectile.
2. Asteroid Belt: Over a dozen rocks, ranging in size from a baseball to a basketball, "orbit" around Maxana. When she chooses to, they earn "escape velocity", leave her orbit and pelt whomever or whatever she chooses as a target.
3. Let It Rock: Maxana has control over the earth element, more specifically over rocks, minerals and sand. The range of her geomancy is thirty feet for every Earth point
