I think you, and Cap, both failt to realize the vast speed differences. In a Khazan match, you don't start boosted.

Ramus has 100 Speed and MAXED! Agility. Before either of your characters think to activate anything, he's got both your brains phased out of your skulls.

Pretty much. Ramus is like the Flash, except he kills you.

Complain to Cleric - 25 Perception makes Alaphim immune to mental attacks. Not much wiggle room with that word.

It's true. In Codex it makes them immune (or damn close to).

However, Henry had maxed Psychic power AND maxed intelligence. As the GM of both, I can kindly confirm that, yes, Henry could effect your characters.

Henry had a specific power to bypass that kind of defense anyway. His 25 Intelligence ability was that he cancelled the other guy's defensive stat.

How different from Aureole, who hit things really hard.

Speaking of Aureole, I recently discovered I have been mispronouncing her all this time. I was thinking "Ah-Rol" rather than "Air-ee-ol." Not sure why.

True enough. I am not particularly attached to that power set, I just wanted to start an SHR3 conversation.


Personally I often find "technique" and "skill" to be a combination of wank and not understanding how things actually operate. There are of course plenty of exceptions, of course. (Liu!)



I don't think anyone in the SHR series could approach Darkseid. Not sure if even Lucifer or unsealed Queen of the Black Moon. Even Elohim seemed to be limited in what he could do as well as what he did do. Elohim carried some elements of Christianity, but he had significant differences.

Anyway, back to SHR3...

Power set thoughts:

Not going to do another pure caster combination. That is right out. Pure physical characters just do not interest me much. Fire was always my least favorite of Alice's elements, and I feel I can do the least with it. Air is my favorite elemental style, so probably going with it. Anything I would want to do with water kind of steps on the toes of good old Xellos Raveneye, though that's my second choice.

Oh go right ahead and do ice stuff. I don't mind.

Just be prepared for me to gloat about how much more creative and awesome Xellos's ice magic was compared to your character's.

I mean I could say anything, and bet on the other guy being too lazy to read all of it to confirm what I say.

Edit: Though technically Georgina would be the Hulk on account of being the member with lots of raw power and an alternate weird personality.

Cleric: Specific question. Is elemental transformation allowed? My character sheet has it, currently, for wind.

Does anyone remember Shalus Guver? Seventh Son of a Seventh Son? Captured and low-key sexually assaulted Alice when the Titans were captured, and then just vanished?

I have the oddest impulse to play his back story.

Often. But when it's done right, it's awesome.

Man, she was good. I wish she and Alice had made up a bit in the epilogue.

And actually would suggest against a physical transformation, come to think of it. My main reason for wanting it was to make him not just a telekinetic, which would have been far too close to Alice, and would make the temptation for another long range character nearly unbearable.

A continuity error! Alice claimed she was Alice Rose King early on, before she became Alice George-McCain King.

Weird. I chose her bizarre middle name specifically because I didn't think she had one.

Don't we normally allow "auto" shields. Like Dr Strange at first never had whatever magic "auto" shield he has to protect him. He had to cast it one time. And if it breaks he can cast it again. Or Green Lantern when he first got the ring couldn't do much with it, and now he has shields?
