Nik Hasta: "I'm not a ninja dammit!"
Elewa - SHR3
Respect Killy! (BLAME!?)
Respect the Mamudo Children!
*Looks at Kyra and Jeffry suspiciously*
(They have speed and strength- and no durability- at the moment- that's three of the four requirements.)
I myself was looking at something like:
Fire: 50
Water: 50
Stamina: 25+
???: ???
Since my buddy (who is apparently too shy to post yet), is (or at least was) attempting something that would be like the avatar eventually, I can guess what his stats would be.
They would-
*Danger Sense Activates*
"No! Not that- anything but that!"
*Flees, being chased*

World of Civero: Shadows of the Djinnoa - Cerise
That's perfectly fine, though the ??? could be anything.
OOCwise, I hate delving into things that aren't available at the start (unless they literally didn't exist at the start, and even then I tend to ignore them).
ICwise, Iriesia has a plan that (she doesn't yet know) requires Fire, Water, and Stamina to be at the listed values.

Possible 165 distribution:
Speed: 100
Leylines: 30
Stamina: 20
Water: 15
Leylines power names:
1. The Vorpal Blade.
5. The Ethereal Maelstrom.
10. The Subtle Knife.
15. Typhoon of Pandemonium.
20. Balance of Doom.
25. Rejoice of Evening.
30. The Sweep.
All entirely subject to revision, of course.
A good way of avoiding that is upgrades, with new powers increasing the utility of past powers. This seems particularly reasonable for Elementi stats. Each new ability does not have to be a new kind of capability. Additionally, more passive powers can help with this. 21 powers does not have to equal 21 different options in any specific encounter. There's also non-combat style abilities. Mental, physical, and social abilities can all be enhanced by powers, usually. Add in information gathering powers and powers to help coordinate and boost people and it's probably better than you think.
Hm...
Admittedly, splitting up your points between all the different stats would give you 40 powers.
Okay, as much as I like the above stat distribution, I really would like to try that. That would just be awesome...
Fire: 25
Water: 25
Air: 25
Earth: 25
Ether: 20
Ancient Tech: 20
Leyline: 25
Hm, and there is precedent for merging power stats for super attacks, and Leylines is implied to be stat shifting...
Maybe if I end up in control of a dropout.
Happily, without knowing what her leylines power IS, this gives no information whatsoever.
Oh, upgrades are definitely the way to go if you have extra power slots, but they're equivalent to new powers that make the previous one's redundant.A good way of avoiding that is upgrades, with new powers increasing the utility of past powers. Enhancing mental abilities is tricky, as there are no stats for them.
165 in power stats would be a fighter-mage-elemanti-psychic, or something.Admittedly, splitting up your points between all the different stats would give you 40 powers.

Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
