A case for Skill:
So, since it seems that melee weapons are common place in the SHR3 world, wouldn't it be a good idea to have the Skill stat to represent how good we are with them? Something like in Codex, but I don't really like the insane skyrocket in effectiveness that the 25 cap represented (25 Skill = Karate Kid).
Thoughts?

Considering how many (Important) stats we already had I wish there was not a skill stat. Though it's your game Cleric.
Skill has always been a sort of so-so stat, varying between really good and...not useful at all.
I'm fine with it not being around, especially if we're restrained to two stats.

That's cool, but it tends to make training or practicing with other PCs difficult to do in my mind. Does this happen often?
Fair argument. How about a compromise? What if, when exp is provided, it's something like: Everyone gains +5 exp and +2 Skill.
Those who want to master in Skill can, but those who don't want to don't have to.
