When people talk about the "sex" aspect, they talk about a sexual undertone which is present in the strangely frequent use of bondage (and you will have to explain to me how Hyppolita -I think it was her- walking around with a guy on a leash is showing peril in a nonviolent way, especially considering it ends with said guy claiming his love to her or something....That's basic female sexual dominance subtext). And in what occasions that are not sex do people use bondage, anyway?
