"No weapon formed against them could prosper."
The JL book has jumped 5 years forward to the present day. 2 issues in (the present day i mean) and we've barely seen any character work besides Hal and Batman being Two and a Half Men.
I wouldnt expect Johns to bother with WW's relationships with the other members, especially now that the roster is expanding.
That said, i loved Element Woman in Flashpoint. It's nice to know that she'll be in the JL. God knows the team could use more women.
I still say they need to develop a friendship between Wonder Woman and Element Woman, when she comes to be a more regular fixture with the League. Her quirky, awkward personality (if its the same as it was in Flashpoint), I think would play great off Diana's personality. She's shown as a bit aloof when she first arrives too, so she could definitely relate in that regard.
Diana and Emily for BFF's!
Anyone else think it looks like Diana is fighting Aquaman in that picture? I thnk I can see Mera there too... damn folds in the page and light reflection blocking my view...

Yeah... I bet Jim Lee's really regretting making her costume so detailed. And she is wearing rings, not sure why... but I'm gonna let it slide since there might actually be a reason rather than Jim Lee deciding that she needed more accessories.
I’m still intrigued as to why she’s fighting Aquaman and has just punched out Mera. Did Diana switch sides?
Didn't think it warranted its own thread, so I thought it might fit here. I wondered if people saw Diana in the recent Action:

Yeah I saw that.... She looks like she's got a stick rammed up her arse; bored, disinterested and completely stuck up. Considering this story is set not long after the first JL arc you'd think she'd look a bit happier, but no...
You must remember that Geoff John is writing JL, so he will put Hal Jordan over every chance he can get, and he'll probably make Hal the man who wins over Diana (and every other DC female that he wants). Remember that Hal Jordan is now the main character of the DC Geoff Johns-iverse. I miss Dwayne McDuffie.
