Default Moon Knight # 11 **Spoilers**

There's a little comical exchange between MK and SHIELD when MK asks, "Which one are you", because Daisy Johnson and Maria Hill look alike. Maria Hill sets him straight. Madam Masque has the Ultron head and asks Nefaria what the plan is and is convinced over the phone, about the course. There is also a sequence at the end, where Madam Masque is knocked out by MK and he takes off the girls mask, and she's got a nice face. Then MK's partner says that she's pretty messed up too, but MK is messed up the worst, which pleases MK. There was also a spooky moment as MK lay unconscious, and it's Echo's image that speaks to him and tells him to get up and not waste Echo's sacrifice, so there are a few psychological drama's going on between MK, Echo, Madam Masque and Count Nefaria. I can see why Bendis picked this set of characters to write about here, because Madam Masque and MK are sort of matched up together. I can certainly see a sick romantic alliance between these two, because they basically have the same psychosis. There was a moment when MM had the chance to shoot MK in the head, but she hesitated, and I couldn't figure out why.

    spoilers:
Moon Knight calls SHIELD via an old code and gets Maria Hill. There is a difference of opinion on how to get the Ultron head back off Madam Masque, but Mark Specter has his way and SHIELD triangulate it's location. MK arrives and there is a fight. Buck, his partner, steals the Ultron head in the confusion, and MK lies helpless, but MM doesn't shoot him. Instead, she chases Buck, and shoots up his car till it stops. MK has the dream about Echo foe Mark to wake up and fight. He jumps up and head slams MM into a fire hydrant and she's out cold. Count Nefaria is visited by the cops at the end.

That was a great fight scene between him and Madam Masque. I've enjoyed how Brian Bendis has been using Spidey, Wolverine, and Captain America as other personalities for Moon Knight.

Very predictable way to show Madame Masque unmasked. Issue was okay, but i can't wait for things to go back to how they used to be.

Did anybody notice the long pauses in scenes in this story? I'm sure there were reasons for this, it's just that I can't work out what?

Madame Masque didn't shoot Moon Knight when she had the drop on him because she realized he was distracting her from Buck's theft of the Ultron head.

There were a number of silent panels (mostly reaction shots), but I didn't notice any pauses. Which scenes are you thinking of?

    Great issue.

    Great fight scene.

    Loved the twist about Echo.

Loved how, particularly after Echo's death, Bendis had me really thinking that Buck might actually bite it.
