    Well there's this:

As it turns out, he has some history with Batman. Formative history. We see his past, and how it affects his present, and specifically, how it affects his "rematch" with Batman. So the idea is that this is a Talon who actually met up with Batman before.

There's nothing to say that when they met he was a Talon, added to the fact that this is a tie in, and that would completely change and contradict Snyder's story (the whole, Bruce thought the Court existed when he was a kid, then didn't believe they were real ever since) if true, which it won't be.

Yeah, I am more curious about this issue now after reading this interview but I'm disappointed that it sounds like Tim Drake doesn't get much to do in this crossover. Now I just want an interview with Tony Daniel to find out what the hell is going on with his tie in.

Will this story explain how Tim became part giraffe?

Completely undermines the main story in Batman and makes things seem kinda ludicrous.

So this isn't Tim's Nite of the Owls issue? I guess I'll just stick with Outlaws.

I'm assuming Tim is the one who fights with the talon though.

Covers always lie. I probably will get it anyway.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

I think it says a lot for DC that, despite the fact Batwoman is one of their best-sellers, they're not just forcing that comic into this crossover to grab some money.
wow thats not a subtle blow to marvel at all XD

I'm a little surprised they have Finch drawing this. With the new writer coming on board in the next issue I'd think they'd want to give him a lot of lead time to make sure that arc goes smoothly. They even have a fill in on #8 (Ed Benes) so it's not like they're trying to avoid fill-ins on this title.

I'm thinking the same thing. The premise doesn't seem particularly bad, but my reason for picking up the issue was the hope of Tim getting some solo lead time. I might still check it out, but certainly lost some interest after reading this interview.

So do you think Ra's Al Ghul has anything to do with this group of "assassins"?

Considering the timeline and the fact that he already knew everything about Batman in his original apperance AND is the leader of a cult of assassins, it's seems to me he should be involved.
