Carol's new outfit is incredible, and Dodson's art just reinforces that.

Amen. It looks very classic sci-fi, almost like a Steve Rude design from Nexus or something. I think it's cool. I might actually add that new Capt. Marvel title to my Marvel pull list, which currently consists of Daredevil, Fury Max (YYYEEAAHH! Gonna be sa-weet!), Winter Soldier, and WATXM. WATXM is in danger of getting dropped simply because I have a hard time convincing myself that it is 33% better than most of the other comics I buy to make myself feel okay about how it's 133% the price of them for the same page count.
At least with Fury Max I know the extra dollar is basically required to even get the book printed (since it will almost definitely sell poorly).

I absolutely love Captain Marvel's outfit!

The comments about a youth title for X-Men and "B Listers" has me thinking again. I would love to add more Marvel titles to my pull list, but I am simply not a fan of most Avengers, Spiderman, Wolverine and Hulk comics. I like some X-titles. I am currently buying more DC, Image, and Dark Horse titles. Marvel has stated time and again about how the current market mostly supports the teams and characters who are "top" titles, and I believe them. But how can Image, Dark Horse and Vertigo create quality titles with much fewer sales? I am sure the pay rate and such is different. If Marvel could ever manage to create an imprint or line with a lower sales threshold, it could help in the long run.

Amen, MuhollandDriver. I assume from your username that you're a David Lynch fan, or at least fond of Mulholland Drive the movie. That shows some good taste, in my opinion, as does the fact that you get more DC, Image, and Dark Horse stuff than Marvel. I grew up on Marvel. But sadly, they're of the old guard in the sense that they seem completely averse to change. The whole industry and all major publishers are surely guilty of this to some extent, but Marvel definitely seems the main offender to me.
The thing that's really sold me on Winter Soldier, by the way, is Brubaker's writing of Doc Doom - it's frickin great! It doesn't match the tone of anything else in the book, and I love it for that. In context of the story, this makes more sense than I would guess it does in my ranting. Bru's the man when unshackled from events and the like. I recommend checking it out if you haven't done so. The art has been fantastic as well. My biggest surprise as far as what I'm buying and loving so far in 2012.

Terry Dodson's version of the Captain Marvel costume = pretty awesome. Love the Immonen art on Avenging Spider-Man. The Del 'Otto pages looks very unlike everything that I've seen of Del'Otto's art...in a good way.

When can we have Immonen drawing something regularly? I mean a 24+ issue run on something!

I have a feeling Immonen is just doing some fill in work awaiting his next big project which I assume will be after AvX. He'll probably be back on one of the Avengers books then. Or back with Bendis on whatever he's doing.

And this, my friends, is why they should never do another Phoenix story again. Holy freaking God, that sounds terrible.

Morrisons run was terrible to me but lots of fans loved it. i did like it as a What If serirs though. Too many characters were terribly written out of character for it to fit in 616 continuity.
