If loving the X-Men is wrong, I don't want to be right. To me my X-Men... CRUSH THOSE AVENGER PIECE OF CRAPS!

If the X-Men are the Syrian rebels, are the Avengers Assad?
If the X-Men are South Sudan, are the Avengers North Sudan?
If the X-Men are the Basques, are the Avengers Spain?
If the X-Men are the Redsox, are the Avengers the Yankees?
If the X-Men are Coca Cola, are the Avenger Pepsi?
If the X-Men are Democrats, are the Avengers Republicans?
If the X-Men are Marvel, are the Avengers DC?
If the X-Men are to-may-toe, are the Avengers to-mah-toe?
If the X-Men are chalk, are the Avengers cheese? (Hey, people keep calling Ms. Marvel "cheeseburger").
All these analogies make at least as much sense as the one that began this thread.
On a more serious note, the X-Men contain several Jews, at least one Israeli national (Legion), and people who have lived and worked in Israel (Professor X, Magneto), so the forced X-Men as Palestine analogy actually makes less sense than a few of the above.
The Avengers are Amer-i-cuh.
Utopia always seemed like an analogy for Israel to me, more so after the Gold/Blue split. Scott's nutso, paranoid defensive and Magneto and Hope are his nukes. The brig is full of political prisoners denied a fair trial. Their top team is full of war criminals. It's an apartheid state.

Hard to believe isn't it that the writers of X Men once used the civil rights movement as their inspiration...............
Politically my sympathies lie with the ordinary Muslims and Jews of Israel and Palestine who just want to get on with their lives and not be forced into being a soldier or a suicide bomber. It's interesting to see there aren't many mutants who've chosen their own path and not been coerced into joining either Blue and gold, except X Factor, and even they are being approached into working for Wolverine.

According to the picture posted here apparently yes.
Let's face it, no matter who's morally right or wrong - the X Men will be wrong. Because they're facing Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Who now count Daredevil, Spiderman and two of the most popular X Men - Wolverine and Storm - amongst their ranks.
