So... and this would be in character for Tony Stark, perhaps Tony is refusing to accept that Thor is actually a god, and instead believes that there is some science behind his abilities. So by the highlighted part of the definition of a DemiGod, as Tony sees it, that is what Thor is. That is probably a part of the sticking point that causes some friction between Tony and Thor. Totally in character too, IMHO.

My sentiments exactly. I fear more and more that Hawkeye is going to be a totally unrecognizable Ultimates-style mess in this movie.

There's already more plot just in the trailers than in the entire Transformers trilogy.

If you freeze it at 20 seconds, the bad guys look a lot like the frost giants from Thor with helmets and assorted armor pieces. There's a good bit of blue skin with light blue swirls.

I mean, you could kind of figure that out from his Thor appearance, what with Hawkeye never having been in SHIELD. Sometimes, you just have to accept the rebellious wise-ass archers you're dealt with.

Hawkeye should be rebellious and wise ass, and I don't think making him a SHIELD agent automatically means they have to go a route that's entirely Ultimates. I actually think the Disney cartoon out now did a good job of kind of blending Ultimates Hawkeye with original Hawkeye in terms of storyline/personality. I know we havent seen much of movie Hawkeye yet, but I'm getting the vibe that there will pretty much be no blend at all...which is fine for fans of the Ultimates series, but I'm not one of those.
