So, Hollywood's had a lot of success with genre and super hero product on film and TV for a while now. With the success of Spider-Man: Everyone Dies on Stage ...I mean Turn off the Dark...does this mean Broadway and touring theatrical productions are the next place for genre and super hero stories to be told to audiences? Seems like it. Plays like Spider-Man and Avenue Q proved a younger audience - not just children, but teens and young adults - are interested in taking in these performances. I don't think this will be the last announcement of its kind by a LONG shot.
