So, Hollywood's had a lot of success with genre and super hero product on film and TV for a while now. With the success of Spider-Man: Everyone Dies on Stage ...I mean Turn off the Dark...does this mean Broadway and touring theatrical productions are the next place for genre and super hero stories to be told to audiences? Seems like it. Plays like Spider-Man and Avenue Q proved a younger audience - not just children, but teens and young adults - are interested in taking in these performances. I don't think this will be the last announcement of its kind by a LONG shot.

"A seven-foot tall male lead with extensive rock vocal experience." COME ON! This is clearly an early April Fools' Joke. It's a good one . . . they had me going for a second.

If you still need your Comic Book musical fix, you can at least still look forward to Moriarty from Image Comics being adapted. That's still real.
