Remender being put on team books is one of the smartest things Marvel have done in a while, both Uncanny X-Force and Secret Avengers have been must-reads for me.

I was enjoying the Ellis-done-in-one issues of this title so much that I was really wondering whether Remender was going to be able to keep me buying this title.

He's passed with flying colours. I loved his first real issue (his point-one issue didn't grab me so much). It was fantastic, and if he keeps writing at the level of that first issue this title is a 'must-have' for me.

Loving the art too - it completely suits the pulp-noir-espionage element of this series.

Remender has been a favorite of mine for a while now. Fear Agent, Venom, Uncanny X-Force and now Secret Avengers. Good stuff.
He always has interesting artists on all of his books, too...so that's a plus.

The tiny replicants are so freakin' creepy.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

i like Hardman more than i like Remender. and i predict that AvX is going to totally kill the momentum of the series.

So why was Ant-Man killed? Don't tell me it's because Scott Lang is back.

Remender needed a secret avenger to die, for some reason. otherwise, Eric (or Scott) would just take another identity.

Just like the Spider-Island tie-ins totally derailed his run on Venom, right?

If anyone can handle tie-ins, it's Remender....though Parker and Gillen have solid track records as well.

Remender is killing it on this, and on Uncanny X-Force. Both books are the top of my pull list. I'm hoping that Hawkeye's absence from the Phoenix arc doesn't mean that he is leaving the book, and I also hope that Mar-Vell sticks around, even though Carol Danvers is to be taking over the mantle

Since Eric died, does that mean we're getting Scott on this book? I'd love to see Remender take a stab at re-establishing him since he's back. This is quickly becoming the best Avengers team book on the stands for me.
There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.

What an insanely attractive team, i can't help but want to read a line up like that.

i didn't start reading Venom until after spider-island and it was entirely due to Flash joining the Secret Avengers. i can't say whether Spider-Island would have disrupted my enjoyment of his main title or not. i haven't picked up any of the red hulk X-23 teamup arc. i hate the art and the wasn't feeling the story.

Scott will presumably be appearing in the Defenders title. i speculate that he'll be staying away from the marvel universe proper.
