A lot of things in comics don't "need" to be done. Doesn't mean it's a bad idea.

You don't know me bud so don't respond with childish remarks. The DC Universe has character that are Iconic sitting on the sidelines while characters who have no reason to interact with DC Characters are forced onto us because Jim Lee now has some kind of power.

They have no reason not to interact with them either.
We are talking comic book characters here, not Jesus.

You want to make a crossover then yea, that's fine. To intertwine them into the DC Universe like they were always there is wrong.

Actually, taken in context of the events at the end of Flashpoint and Pandora's action, the merger of the Wildstorm universe with the DCU is forced :P

    Phantom Stranger said so ;)

Because they are not original DC Characters and have no history. You want them to have their own world in Dc that's fine, There was no need to put them on the main earth IMO.

But DC has been doing this for decades now, including characters that were not from their universe. Captain Marvel, Question, Captain Atom, Blue Beetle.....none of these started as DC characters, and all of them has been included in a universe they had no history with. Yet, here they are.

Right, being open to new ideas is drinking kool-aid. Tell me, who are you making your peace with? Because Lee and Didio aren't listening.

At least Jurgens who I know loves the character of Superman and will do what ever he can to try to please all of us gave us some hint of a classic feel and some glimpse of hope especially with what he has to work with here. The fact that the suit comes out of the S is just ridiculous in every way and I'm sure Dan knows this as well but will do his best to work with what he has.
Yeah pretty much, its been a sell out since the start to appeal to those who arent fans. I think they realized this in the middle of Perez's run and took it in the direction its come, meaning more Superman like. They figured it wouldent work, and real fans arent going for it. Just a disappointment for everyone. I say give it a little time and itll be back to what it was with fresh new bits. I called it from the start that this new "Superman" would be a flop, or nothing special, and it looks like they're restoring him to what he was, with some new bits of course. I'm willing to bet that atrocious costume will be updated and fixed too, along with other things. This is one issue and weve already got a major improvement, just within how that costume even works.

Well you actually do make a good point there. Yes, DC has brought other Companies characters and installed them into the DC Universe but did so in a very smart manner. This is just to do it for the sake of doing it IMO. Simply because Jim Lee now has power in DC and Didio loves him even though he has a terrible track record 9 out of 10 times.
