To paint comic books as childish and illiterate is lazy. A lot of comic books are very literate - unlike most films.
In an alternate universe my parents are Johnny Cash & Lita Ford.
1.) THORION
2.) DARK CLAW
3.) AMAZON
and if i could choose who would be drawing the amalgam for any of the 3 choices it would be ivan reis
if not him then stuart immonen or oliver coipel for thorion OHOHOH or Esad Ribic with dean whites colors ala Ultimate comics ultimates HELL YEAH
frank cho or eric basaldula for amazon
early 2000s style david finch on dark claw (its too late! nonononon NOOOOOOOOOOOO!)
i really hope if they do make another go around with thease characters they take it seriously and get better writing on em (Rick Remminder in dark angel saga mode, or jonathan hickman) as u can tell from the dark claw page the writing was just ugh

I'd totally read Super Soldier, Spider-Boy, Dr. StrangeFate and JLX books, just off the top of my head...at least by the writers of the original issues.
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...
JLX was awesome
though metamutant was kind of a mouthful

I'd read dark claw and Super Soldier I think. Mainly Dark Claw due to my insane love for the Sabertooth/Joker hybrid. Physically imposing Joker! You betcha.
There is only ONE Amalgam character I would buy a mini-series of without question...
I enjoyed the concept of Amalgam very much. Spider-Boy, Super Soldier, The Challengers of the Fantastic, The Judgement League Avengers... but Lobo The Duck was the stand out awesome concept of the whole event.

I would love to see a Dr. Strangefate mini series.
