Hm, that looks like ol 616 spidey. Well there went all my interest. Though interesting they unveil the one that was in doubt instead of miles, which is a duh. Seems like a missed opportunity.

I don't think you can taunt people using an unlikely scenario.

To draw out the mystery. I didn't want that, but I am kind of suprised they went that way and are still trying to be mysterious.

My "wouldn't it be neat if..." prediction is that if you buy a print copy of Amazing, you get a code for a free digital copy of the new Ultimate Spidey. And vicey versas. Of course, that's not a money grubbing strategy, even if it might bring more readers into the fray, so I doubt that will happen. But I hope the "Spider-Men" cross-pollenization has more to do with brands and synergy and attracting readers than it does with bridging the 616 and Ultimate universes. I think that would ruin a big chunk of the magic, unless perhaps it's one of those cross-overs where nobody remembers anything at the end of it all, in which case...why bother? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

It could also be the Ultimate Peter Parker, somewhat older.

Or some weird guy dressed as the Ultimate Spider-Man.

Which one? If the one revealed that is possible, but it still doesn't seem to bring the mystery I guess they are going for.

    It's still Spider-Man.
And with Spider-Man comes Black Cat.

    LOL!!!

Marvel just keeps trolling their fans.

That being said, i think most people were expecting this to be the 616 Spidey.

However, it will be very funny, if it doesn't involve Miles Morales at all. That will be the ultimate act of trolling ever.

Looks like an Ultimate Universe and 616 Universe crossover... it seems Marvel ran officially out of ideas.
Unless this is an alternate 616 universe like the Marvel Zombies Universe, but it that was the case they could just have called it Ultimate Comics: Spider-Men.

In the last issue of Ultimate Spider-Man they referenced Spider-Men. This makes it very likely this will also involve the Ultimate Universe.

As I said in the Ultimate Forum, is there any chance that this isn't a true crossover and is instead a two-in-one style book?
My Heroes For Hire: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, The Falcon, Ant-Man (Scott Lang). White Tiger IV and Powerman would be interns.
