one of the very few monthlies that I am getting.
Who's there?
I'll check this out, palmiotti has quietly put together one of the best bodies of work as a writer in the last several years of comics to me.
Read The Call, African fantasy at its best http://coalminds.com/webcomics/thecall_adaptive04.html
As a DC War fan, especially a SGt Rock fan, I was in awe at what a disaster Men of War was, and how little respect Brandon gave to Kanigher and Kubert. It did not bother me DC started over, but they gave NO attention to a book that deserved to be done right, if not for the soldiers that would read it. Jonah Hex by Palmiotti and Gray was better than the original and I have hope now, not only in the creative team, but that DC is taking the best war characters in comics history SERIOUSLY. I appreciate 'Freedom Fighters', Didio, (NOT), but if you try to understand the history of the company you run, you'll see a large part of its success was ROBERT KANIGHER and JOE KUBERT's war comics
Can't wait.
Huge fan of their work with 'Hex,' and I have high expectations for 'Unknown Soldier.' I'd like to see DC do more with its war characters. Done correctly, and respectfully, these characters will resonate with readers.
