And that was a goddamn motherfucking *a*-mazing show!
All kinds a weird instruments, like a mouth-keyboard and *TWO* frickin' xylophones, and just an insane level of energy all through. If one of 'em wasn't beatin' the shit outta their instrument he was doing a weird pogo dance and screaming. One of the two or three most *UP* live bands I've ever seen. Just non-stop Go! Go! Go! With weird percussion and strange noises and whoops and screams and, like, every now and then just a little bit of a tune you might recognize. Like I swear I heard a bit of a Beatles song burble up from the depths of cacophony in their opening number.
Might have been the best club show I've ever seen. Woulda been the best club show I've ever seen if they did two sets and cut out the crappy openers.
Man, I *so* wanna head to Cleveland tomorrow. But I got no gas money and work and class.

I used to go to a lot of concerts in Cleveland, but now that I've moved, there'a been a big jump in concert availability between Milwaukee and Chicago.
This year I look forward to seeing U2, The Killers, Modest Mouse and...Bonnaroo! Yay!

The Pimps are playing a show in town this Saturday night. They're not a big band or anything...I think the biggest thing they've done is the "Mission Impossible" theme on the MI2 soundtrack. They're a really good band, though, and every one of their shows I've been to has been excellent. I haven't seen them in a couple years and can't wait for it.
On a bigger scale, I'm still trying to find a way to go to Minneapolis to see Slipknot in a couple months. I'm hoping I can afford it, but I just don't have the cash for stuff like that anymore. Not to mention I don't like going to shows in big arenas...I much prefer the smaller venues.
I have all sorts of shows that I'm looking forward to this year.
Saddly the only one I have tickets for so far, is (God help me), Ashley Simpson!!!!
I'm taking my 13 year old daughter and 5 of her friends to the Denver show on March 1st as a birthday gift.
I tried to convice my wife to go instead, but she just laughed and laughed.
Going to see the Donnas (again) in April.
Doesn't really make up for the lack of U2 tickets, but still...

I finally heard of a concert I can look forward to: And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead! I must go to this! It's in April, and I have two exams in the two days after it, but I don't care! Trail Of Dead! *hops about excitedly*
EDIT: But not according to their official website...huh...now I'm confused.
