Man, that sounds like a great show for free. I'm envious.
As for me, I've got Louis XIV on July 30th, and White Stripes on Aug 19.

Simply too broke to look forward to any shows. Unless they're my friends' shows and I'm on the list, which happens regularly enough.

Still waiting for Lacuna Coil/Foo Fighters/Evanescence/A Perfect Circle to return to town; I've been too bleeding broke to go in the past.

Actually...I'm still too low on disposable income unless I give comics, and that isn't happening. Decisions, decisions...

Next week it's Kane, which is nice enough rock music. And in september it's Epica, that's the one I'm really looking forward to. And just over a week ago I saw Within temptation, which was very nice, but I liked one of the support bands even better...which is not surprising really, After forever. These are all Dutch bands by the way.
Somewhere in October Trail of tears will be playing here, but I don't have tickets yet....will get them, they totally rock live.

Saw them a cuple weeks ago and they were great. I was a little surprised, given how long it's been since they made their two classic albums and that there's only two guys left, Johanson and Sylvain; but it was one of the best shows I;ve seen. They played almost all of the first album, although, since I love every song so much I was sorry they didn't play absolutely everything (they left out Bad Girl & Frankenstein, and I think Vietnamese Baby). Can't remember everything they played from Too Much Too Soon, but they did leave out There's Gonna Be A Showdown and Don't You Start Me Talkin, which I'd hoped to hear. But anyway, the show was amazing, the sound was perfect, not too loud, and I was able to get pretty close to the stage since the crowd wasn't enormous.
