PROVE that writers feel the EXACT same way you do. Don't simply assume.

All I will say is that the industry's finest are the ones who are coming up with stories that would have been a foregone possibility by fans and the status quo years ago. Let's remember that the use of characters are the writer's interest and point of view, like anyone else. And the Editor is captain of the ship. And one can say that Peter Parker date with Carol Danvers should have been a foregone possibility, along with Peter's previous relationship with Black Cat or his marriage to Mary Jane in which some have argued that it should not have happened in the first place if they where in charge of Spider-Man at that time.

Again- there is a DIFFERENCE between writer's wanting to do something and YOU wanting to do something.

If you are going to argue that writers WANT to do this, PROVE it. Simple as that.

I am just expressing my opinion as everyone else here. Can we leave it at that? What I say means nothing to the person whose writing or illustrating the stories unless I was working with them as the Editor. What I have talked about is nothing but an opinion. If I really want my ideas to come true, I would work at Marvel. But I don't. So it's not a big deal to me as it appears. For example, if I want any of the said heroines to team-up with Spidey in the same manner as Black Cat, I would simply hire an artist to do the commissioned illustrations for me, if they are willing to accept my offer. The characters are fiction to me. What we get from the books are stories and ideas that comes out of the writer's or artist thought process. I can't and will never get them to see things the way I do unless I was doing the breakdowns of the artwork myself as a guide to show them how the story might flow.
