Exactly. Same way in like doing a sequel to AoA, what could you do that hasn't already been done with it?
Also, it was mostly terrible, in the fact that Magik stopped being Satan.

Bastion was such a letdown in second coming. As was Hodge. Just, ugh that event. Ugh.

Poll is up. The judges chose to eliminate To Me My X-men, but with so few of you left, I put you all in the poll. Boozier will not be releasing comments this round. Deal with it.

Jubilee Must Die!
Great title, good fun. The story is fun, too, up until the last issue. At this point, you're asking readers to accept that Jubilee is now an actual evil character living with Logan. It also would have to do a lot of work to make the generic Gischler vampires into somebody we could actually be invested in - it would make Jubilee look stupid if she refuses the human cure (she already does seem pretty stupid to do that, btw) for the memory of some boring ol' vampires nobody cared about. You'd probably need an extra issue at the start, to kill off these characters in a way which makes readers agree with Jubilee's want for revenge. It seems silly for Jubilee to refuse the cure and then go search for a cure.
Hunt for Xavier:
Okay good, Xavier now has a purpose in life again. You combine past and current continuity well. I don't think Cyclops would devote so much time to humanity (not least because Magneto wouldn't let him) while the NM/Xavier are missing. Instead of Storm being the one to get in at the end, would it be more interesting to shrink things down to focus on some of the original X-Men? Just a thought. How many X-Men does Cerebro have? Enough to make this a worthwhile battle?
To Me, My X-Men:
Hope wouldn't ignore the new mutants appearing - it's her purpose. For that reason, I don't think Cyclops would say 'oh, that's Wolverine's problem' and ignore it. Now admittedly I'm tired, but I struggled a bit to keep up with some of the plot bits here. The Children of the Vault are involved for some reason, and there's some new X-Men? Or something. These are fairly obscure stories to mix with each other, you might be best combining a third, more accessible plot thread into proceedings so new/less wary readers can jump into the story without being confused.
Vengeance of Apocalypse:
I like it, and there are some strong touches. I'm not sure you need so many issues to tell the story, however - this would be better decompressed, or the story expanded elsewhere. Having so much of it be 'desperate last battle' - the last three issues all touch on this - stretches the premise a bit thin. Readers would lose attention over the course of three months with nothing happening. You'd have to make sure the tie-in books stress that Uncanny X-Force is the most important book - this might work better as a storyline in that book, with Uncanny/Wolverine tying-in to the story. Otherwise you run the risk of really overexposing the story and turning readers off it
All four were good! I'd probably read any of them
Understandable - seany needs to lie in bed and drink chicken soup as often as possible.
Thank you for your insightful and constructive criticism Seresecros. I agree; it was extremely hard to figure out a 'plot' for the final issue, it felt like the 'big fight' had really started in issue four tbh.

Thanks, Serescros!
Yeah, the beginning and end of the story were difficult given that I wanted to throw out all of the Vampire-Lore without abruptly ending this long-brewing saga. I didn't want to kill the vampire she was seemingly closest to as to not force a huge emo-bus over her heart, but I did have a lack of direction of where this should go in the future.

I'll admit, ours was rushed. Been so busy and haven't had time to post on cbr.

Come to Deathstrike and Giles's story, "Vengeance of Apocalypse" received the most votes, and sadly has been eliminated.
The rest of you, don't forget to do your alternate reality stories by Tuesday afternoon.
