Anyone else finding Detective Comics... boring?

Hmm. And maybe I shouldnt care. Just that 'Tec is one of the flagships of DC and IMO deserves better treatment e.g. Batman.

I believe Batman's popularity has flunctuated over the years probably because of quality issues but this isnt the time really in the Post-Miller, Post-Burton, Post-Nolan eras.

Obviously fans want it and no doubt the movie fans are clamouring for more.

I don't think the movie fans really make up a significant portion of the people who buy comics, so what they may or may not be clamoring for is of little consequence.

I dropped it after issue #5. Loved the art not the story. Think Batman and Robin is next to go. Replacing it with Inc. though.
