Default Songs you are sick and tired of hearing !

I think the title is pretty self explanatory :) they don't have to be bad songs just songs you are tired of hearing.

    My list.

Boston- More than a feeling - probably the most overplayed song in the history of radio(next to stairway to heaven)

Quiet Riot- Cum on feel the noize ! (them and twisted sister is like Chinese water torture for my ears)

Grand Funk Railroad - some kind of wonderfull (probably the unfunkiest band to ever have the word funk in their name)

Belinda Carlisle - anything of her first solo album in the 80s i kind of wore out when i was a kid and they don't really hold up that well now.

Garth Brooks -friends in low places and the rest- i used to go to dances all the time where they would play his music blech.

    Your turn !

    Nirvana -"Smells Like Teen Spirit"

    Metallica -"Enter Sandman"

Bob Marley -"Buffalo Soldier" ..Hell just about any of his songs.

The "I'm Sexy and I know It" song. Its fucking everywhere!!!!

Also want to add Stone Temple Pilots "plush" and Living Colours " cult of personality" neither song is that great especially in comparison to how overplayed it has been.

I've only heard it on that M&M's commercial, and I'm sick of it.

    "Moves Like Jagger"

"Achy Breaky Heart" I hear it rarely, and that's far too much.

"One More Time" Not the Daft Punk version, some cover by I don't know who that sounds muffled. It kinda stresses me, it's that bad (When I say it stresses me, imagine a dog and a dog whistle)

"Layla" Not a bad song, it's just on the radio too much.

"Can't Help Falling in Love" Because of that Axe Anarchy commercial.

"Tainted Love" The Soft Cell cover, another good song that's overplayed.

For picking both those songs, you're on my list now, pariah.

A radio station that overplays Plush and Cult Of Personality? The Netherlands should be so lucky to have one of those. Cult wasn't ever a hit over here in Holland. I maybe heard it twice on the radio in all my life. I mean I guess they may have played it back in '88 or '89 when it came out, but I was only 2 years old, so I don't remember.

MTV played that song to freaking death when it first came out.

Hell most people probably couldn't even remember any other song by them.

I find the riff overly repetitive and the rhythms sound really stiff which is kind of sad considering all of them are known for being talented musicians before and after that song.

Maybe their label wanted to have a hit song that wouldn't sound out of place on rock radio alongside the commercial rock acts of the day like Bon Jovi.

A cover of the tainted love song that was originally a cover? yeah the music industry isn't in a deep recess of creative idea's at all.
I know Manson might have covered that song but i don't know who else.

Oldies radio killed Wilson Pickett, the Temptations, and the Four Tops for me.

    Anything by the Beatles

    Anything by Adele

    Anything by Michael Jackson

Not every song by these groups / singers sucks but what good ones there are have been so overplayed either currently in Adele's case or over the years in the other two that they make me cringe when hearing them and if I'm driving nearly wreck in an attempt to change the station.
Price your book at $3.99 and I'll trade wait. Make me wait too long for the trade PAPERback and I'll say screw it. I'm looking at you Marvel and Spider Island.

The only songs I ever get sick of hearing are songs I never liked. Once I like a song, I like it forever.

Avril Levine, Britney Spears, BSB, N'Sync, and stuff like that
    practically any Country

In the 90s, Tom Petty came dangerously close to being the only artist I liked to join this group.

    Most Beatles tunes

    Anything on popular radio

    Any Michael Jackson song

    Nirvana - except for Lithium

    Satisfaction, despite loving the Stones

Ditto for We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions

More as I think of 'em.
