hush i'm eating beef stew right now
*chuckles*
you might have a point majin...but here's the thing -- where does the bias lie..
i have no interest in investing in this 'event' (should it come out in affordable trade i might change my mind) but that doesn't means i'm not following the story through the previews, what's written and what some of you guy are saying on these boards...and it strikes me that this IS more of another one of marvel's events 'that will shake the core of the marvel universe' than it is a good story told over a number of issues...
now mind you, the story hasn't played out and i have no clue what direction marvel is taking this 'event'...but if the centerpiece of this 'conflict' is the phoenix force then it should be center stage...
sure it's a nice premise and all, 'gasp the phoenix is coming, phoenix is coming...however, someone pointed out on another thread there seems to be something decided lacking in that premise so far -- as if the marvel editors and writers ignored the entire backstory involving this character (and that what it is) or at least decided it wasn't relevant...
and quite frankly, given the previews, pieces of the first issue and what i've read what's to come (kinda) i can't say the person/persons ain't wrong...and if that is the case, marvel abandoned a great story for what really boils down to a slugfest...
as to how both properties are treated, we're really not gonna know that until the end...i'm expecting howls of discontent/anger/rage
from fans...
but hey i've been wrong before...

I had me some mock turtle soup for lunch.
Prodigy, do you know if the new Eureka 7 anime is out yet? I know it was supposed to premiere sometime in the spring, but i can't remember what month
It depends on the recipe. The new fad is now make it taste like the shitty Skyline or Goldstar chili from Cincinnati with cinnamon and brown sugar. But I will have none of that. We use a recipe that's been in our family for a long time. It has potato, lemon, egg, carrot, celery, cabbage, tomato juice, salt, pepper, pickling spices, and flour. I use tofu in mine, but my parents use chicken for the meat.
Why would anyone put cinnamon is soup? That's like putting walnuts in spaghetti
