To me, Franklin is indeed the most powerful of the mutants, much more so than Hope, Jean, whomever. He's basically Stan and Jack's creative baby together...
That said, it was Franklin's older self who did this to the Celestials; his older self imbued with both his and his younger self's power. In that younger Franklin gave the lion's share of his power to his older self, the Franklin of the here and now may be left dramatically less powerful. Which, if this is the case, will also make him a more viable option for adventure stories both with The FF as well as with the Jean Grey School kids (in that the ability to warp reality sort of takes away the dramatic tension for any sort of perilous endeavor)..

I don't read FF, but this sounds highly plausible. Franklin is too OP, he would ruin any storytelling in the X-books, but if his powers are reduced it could open up more possibilities for interaction.

Its time to either neuralize (strip him of his powers) franklin and make him human, or kill him off he's too much of a threat and way too powerfull

Not exactly. Adult Franklin used Young Franklin's powers solely for the purpose of resurrecting Galactus, not to aid him in the fight. And although both versions of Franklin expended a great deal of power of late, history has shown that Frank's powers always return over time. And from the looks of things, neither version is entirely depleted right now (Thank you Hickman). That said, he'll be back to full power in no time. At least, I think so.

We saw Hope being checked out by Mister Fantastic on one occasion, but we never saw more. The X-men took care of Franklin post Onslaught and know that he created another universe to store heroes in which means they know he has the power. It seems weird we never see many mutant issues involving the FF despite connections to the community.
This might make you feel a little better for now. Possible future image: Adult Franklin Richards (same one seen recently in the latest issues of F4 and FF) and Hope Summers holding hands together next to a decapitated Sentinel in Hickman's S.H.I.E.L.D. #4.

Then his mommy a daddy soon have you and everyone on your side wishing their grandparents had never been born. A a parent I can tell you that killing someones child is not likely to bring a positive reaction, the terms Scorched earth and Armageddon come to mind.

they should keep him at his power level but make it so that it's hard for him to use his powers in small, non earth shattering, ways. He must always stress extreme focus to use his powers to do something simple like emit a cosmic blast, much like Blackbolt.

What issue was this, and why is Franklin an adult? Was his age fluctuating again? How old is he supposed to be at the moment?

I'd keep Frank away from the Jean Grey School for a bit; he'd probably wake up every morning to Rachel dry humping him.

    That would be hilarious.

I think that though Franklin is finely raised by his family he should be taking lessons by some experts on his abilities. For instance, he was living for a while with Generation X at the Massachusets Academy. was he receiving off-panel telepathy classes from Emma Frost? that would make sense. Maybe Rachel would be too affected as to be his trainer in tp or tk but there are other options. Professor X (if he manages to explain the whole Onslaught situation to him and he builds some bridges of trust) or the aforementioned White Queen (it would be entertaining to see how she and Susan Richards interact..)

    Yep, it's the Next Avengers.

And yeah... Franklin seems to love his redheads. On a side note, since Rachel Summers does not exist (at least not yet) in Earth-616 (Marvel's mainstream reality), could Hope Summers be our version of Rachel? I'm sure she has some connection to Jean. Too many similarities between them to ignore.
