Sure is disappointing that the anime ended already, but I'm definitely enjoying the manga immensely.

I love that they're now establishing characters in Beel's age bracket.

Dang no love for Beelzebub on here. The last arc was epic and really rekindled my interest in the series. Especially the Furuichi character. The manga is just so hilarious how can you not love it

Me and Dark Soul #7 both regularly chat about Beelzebub in the general Anime/Manga thread.

    It's a great series.

It is a great series. Funniest manga I've read since Ranma½.

Latest chapter is really funny as per usual. Kanzaki and Nene stole the show for me this week.

The big problem, imo, is that there's nothing really driving the story forward. It's still a fun manga, but progress on pretty much every front is slow to nonexistant.

We did learn about Furuichi's past with Oga and Himekawa's past prior to attending Ishiyama, though.

It's been a bit up and down. The last arc was probably the best so far as it mixed humor elements with serious character development and flashbackiness.

This latest story arc is also shaping up to awesome.

yeah it was kind of directionless, but Chapters 169-173 were amazing got me back into the series, and now its picking up a little steam again. I highly recomend checking them out. But you might need to read the arc before to get the set up

Aw yeah, love the series. :)

I really enjoyed the fact that the characters stick around after their initial introduction and we get to know them better...Which makes their actions later on even more awesome/hilarious.

Heck, I didn't care too much about Kanzaki in the beginning but now, he's one of my favorites.

I think introducing his niece and making Yuka a player in his side plots did a lot for his value as a character.
