Marvel trade/HC prices are really starting to make zero sense.

I mean they're clearly not pricing based on page count, so what is it?
Currently reading She-Hulk, Deadpool, Swamp Thing, Ms. Marvel

Probation: Ghost Rider, Loki: LoA, Secret Avengers

Looking forward to All-New Ultimates, Flash Gordon and Doctor Mirage.

Land only did one issue of Avenging Spider-man? Awesome, the trade shall remain on my wishlist.

Actually - question. This current Dark Tower series; is it the final one, or just the last one of The Gunslinger?

It's what they think they can get for each one.

Characters? Maybe a more popular character gets a higher price as they think fans will pay whatever for a certain character.

Royalties? As I understand it creators are paid royalties based on sales of trades, so maybe the royalty they have to pay one creator is higher than another so they have to charge more for profit margins.

    Just my guesses.

    Astonishing X-Men #51
    Scarlet Spider #6
    Uncanny X-Force #26
    Ultimate Comics: X-Men #13
    X-Men #30 & #31

It sucks that Wolverine & the X-Men is so heavily tying into AVX. I have to skip four issues in a row (maybe more depending on the rest of the summer) because I'm not getting AVX. Whenever it stops tying in, I'll probably drop either Scarlet Spider or Astonishing X-Men (or maybe both) to pick it up again.
I'm still waiting for a new Wonder Twins ongoing. Let's make it happen, DC.

Looking at the solicits, I just realised I am no longer picking up anything from Marvel.
    Sun and Moon
    Ororo Munroe...God's own X-MAN
Storm deserves her very own solo ongoing...unfortunately..."Limited minds place limits on everything but their own foolishness." (aja_c.)
