nice! actually looking forward to this!
Wait, seriously, they're just calling it "Arrow"? Who's ****ing brilliant idea was that? Yeah, distance yourself from the property on which the show is based... Seems like a GREAT idea.
Typical -- make a LOT of assumptions based on absolutely no proof. How does the show being called just "Arrow" indicate anything other than the fact they've named it "Arrow?" Also fascinating is how the point of the article is to debut his look, yet you don't even comment on that? Oy.
Me, I think this costume looks great. I certainly want to know more before I can say I'm fully onboard, but I do like this image quite a lot.

Way better than wonder womans shiny trousers, seems dc learnt their lesson from that, still would have liked to see it though

"...darker and harder-edged..." => I pass.
My gut reaction was "not enough green" but I guess he's called "Green Arrow" not "Green Archer." So as long as the *arrows* are green...
I'm also a little apprehensive of what appears to be the embroidered arrow that appears to be pointing at his chin.
And my third/last stupid nitpick: Are they archery gloves? I demand archery gloves.
Looks good overall.
Now if they could only present me with a picture that encapsulates the quality of the writing and acting...
