The Newsarama coverage expanded a bit on the Multiversity, while there are 3 chapters currently being illustrated, they're looking to eight in total, and won't schedule them until they've got most in the bag. They're "hoping" 2012 at this point.
Wonder if President Superman will still be in it. If so, maybe Action #9 is a teaser of sorts for Multiversity.
Yeah the Action Comics issue is meant to be a tie-in/teaser, not a replacement.

I think it's also a fair point that over the years, Morrison has mentioned at least or more than eight issues. I wouldn't be surprised if the President Superman issue was a cut issue from Multiversity, or adapted from one. That doesn't mean it can't tie in to Action and/or Multiversity, though.
It seems like Keith Giffen is already doing the art for another book, that made the whole interview worth it.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
Multiversity is probably the project i am looking forward to reading, wish he named dropped the artist's involved.
