Somehow this article, which sheds more light on the book, makes it sound even more like an early April Fool's joke than when it was announced yesterday. Sorry, but I just can't get my head around how the X-office thought this was gonna be a winner.

I love how the same whiney people from the various other threads about this announcement can't let it go enough to stay away from the new thread. Loving the sound of your own negativity echoing through the boards, eh? Someone has to I guess.

Anyway, I'm very excited for this. While I haven't read Pak's Astonishing arc, I am a huge Dazzler fan and think this could be good for her. She has plenty of alt-universe experience, having lived in the Mojoverse and fought through a rebellion there. It might be nice to have that touched on (even if it's not the Dazzler fan contingents favorite part of her backstory). Exiles was also my favorite book for several years under Winnick and Bedard. If this can capture half of the spirit and fun that book had, I will be a very happy camper.

Sage has no alternates. Roma integrated her essence into one Omniversal Sage. I am not placated by cheap ripoffs.
