Still think Vertigo is on some remarkably uncertain footing at the moment, but hopefully, the new series they're launching will prove pretty successful. We can do with more than just more Fables spinoffs.

So....you want him to write books he doesn't own? I think Peter Milligan Brendan McCarthy, et al. would have something to say about that.

The audience then moaned as Dennis showed the image for the final issue of “Scalped,” visibly upset by the ending of the comic series by writer Jason Aaron and artist Jock.
Jock is the cover artist. R.M Guéra is the co-creator/artist of the series.

Anyway, I am trilled to see the new monthlies coming out. If it wasn't for Vertigo, I would have lost interested in comic book years ago. For that matter, ever since this stupid New 52, I have loved my monthly V-Books more than ever.
    Who's there?

Vertigo is weaker than it's been since it started. I guess it's true that DC are looking to fold it.

I bought Saucer Country out of hope and it is a very muddled unremarkable looking comic that took an interesting concept and dropped it in a puddle. I am scouring bins for Vertigo back issues, and I am buying very little of the current monthly output. I used to be a Vertigo stalwart, but then Vertigo used to be original.

I miss Vertigo Resurrected like crazy. DC needs to bring those 100 page stories back. They were the best value comics on the shelves.

Don't want to sound like I'm bashing your credibility but do you have sources for that?
It just sounds to me that since your not buying any vertigo monthlies you think that its in terrible shape

A good Vertigo panel with already written titles or to come. I think that Vertigo is searching its true marks in this niche mature readers market. Someone has said that Image is doing what Vertigo is not doing now.

I am not so sure about the result of this remark. Vertigo is really a mature branch from a worldwide media company. It may sold less titles than Image, because each Vertigo titles is not sold because of a buzz o the web (AKA the Saga one, which is only a Romeo/Juliet space-opera with crude words) but because of its deep research from its authors.
Vertigo has a solid readers base. Which is not really the case for Image: most readers are there to do an awesome "coup de maitre" with buzzed titles.

I hope to see more Vertigo titles to come, else if they are published as a 9-issues/year. I also hope that we will have a true anthology comic mag (and not book!!!), with comic stories AND illustrated prose stories as well. The title? Why not "Vertigo Chronicles".

    yeah.
And I will take his family in hostage if needed..

Seriously dude, what's your point ? What do you want ?
If Snyder had replied THE SANDMAN or BARNUM, what would you have said ?
I just took the franchises I'd like ideally to see resurrected, how it could be done isn't my bussiness.

Reread the terms please, and look into your heart, you'll know I'm right and meant no harm
