I enjoyed the first book.

this is great. I'm getting the trades for sure, but this almost convinced me to buy it monthlies.

That said, I asked Bendis about it on Facebook, and it's not exactly an ongoing. It's a series of miniseries (like Criminal or Hellboy), with the goal of putting out one trade a year. Unless something changed in the month since I asked him, calling it an ongoing is a bit misleading.
